Our Investment Plans

The Infrastructure We Are Building

Golden Line is planning a suite of world-class telecommunications services for Iraq — designed to connect the nation to global networks and power the region's digital future.

Core Network

10,000+ km

Planned Route Length

Iraq's Terrestrial Fiber Backbone

Fiber-Optic Connectivity

Golden Line is planning a high-capacity terrestrial fiber network spanning Iraq's full geography — from the Turkish border in the north to the Gulf coast in the south. This backbone will form the foundation of Iraq's digital infrastructure for decades to come.

  • Planned multi-terabit capacity fiber routes across Iraq
  • Diverse path routing for maximum resilience and redundancy
  • Designed to international carrier-grade standards
  • Engineered for future scalability and technology upgrades
  • Planned interconnection with regional and international networks

This service is in the investment and planning phase. Golden Line is actively seeking partners and investors to develop this infrastructure.

Transit Services

100 Tbps

Target Capacity

The Europe–Gulf Corridor

International Capacity Transit

Once built, Golden Line's network will offer international transit services across the shortest overland route between Europe and the Arabian Gulf — passing through Iraq's strategic geography to deliver lower latency and higher resilience than existing submarine alternatives.

  • Planned low-latency Europe–Gulf transit corridor
  • Target sub-30ms latency between Frankfurt and Kuwait
  • Designed for international carriers, ISPs, and hyperscalers
  • Planned diverse routing options for maximum uptime
  • Future capacity available for long-term IRU agreements

Transit services will be offered upon completion of the fiber backbone. Capacity reservations and partnership discussions are welcome now.

Digital Infrastructure

Tier III+

Planned Standard

Carrier-Grade Facilities for Iraq

Data Centers & Colocation

Golden Line plans to develop Tier III+ data center facilities at strategic locations across Iraq — providing the physical infrastructure for enterprises, carriers, and cloud providers to anchor their regional operations in the heart of the Middle East.

  • Planned Tier III+ certified data center facilities
  • Carrier-neutral colocation and interconnection services
  • Designed for high-density compute and storage workloads
  • Redundant power, cooling, and physical security systems
  • Direct on-net connectivity to the Golden Line fiber backbone

Data center development is planned in parallel with the fiber network. Site selection and feasibility studies are underway.

Cloud & Compute

Multi-Cloud

Architecture

Iraq's Cloud On-Ramp

Cloud Infrastructure

Golden Line plans to develop cloud infrastructure services that will give Iraqi enterprises and government entities direct, low-latency access to global cloud platforms — reducing dependence on expensive international links and enabling local data sovereignty.

  • Planned cloud on-ramp services for major hyperscalers
  • Private and hybrid cloud infrastructure for enterprises
  • Designed to support Iraqi government digital transformation
  • Local data residency and sovereignty compliance
  • Managed connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments

Cloud infrastructure services are planned as a natural extension of the data center and fiber investments.

AI & Innovation

Next-Gen

AI-Ready Infrastructure

Powering Iraq's AI Future

AI & Digital Solutions

Golden Line's planned infrastructure is designed from the ground up to support the compute and connectivity demands of artificial intelligence workloads — positioning Iraq as a regional hub for AI development, training, and deployment.

  • High-density GPU-ready data center infrastructure
  • Ultra-low latency connectivity for AI inference workloads
  • Planned partnerships with leading AI platform providers
  • Infrastructure designed for large-scale model training
  • Future AI-as-a-Service offerings for regional enterprises

AI infrastructure is a strategic priority for Golden Line, aligned with Iraq's national digital transformation agenda.
